Zulip

With Zulip modules in Make, you can manage messages and users in your Zulip account.

To use the Zulip modules, you must have a Zulip account. You can create an account at zulip.com

Refer to the Zulip API documentation for a list of available endpoints.

Connect Zulip to Make

To establish the connection, you must:

Obtain your API key in Zulip

To obtain your API key from your Zulip account:

  1. Log in to your Zulip account.

  2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner to access the Main Menu and select Personal Settings.

  3. In the left sidebar click Bots > Add a New Bot. Enter the required details and click Add.

  4. Copy the Bot Email and API Key and store them in a safe place.

Establish the connection with Zulip in Make

To establish the connection in Make:

  1. Log in to your Make account, add a Zulip module to your scenario, and click Create a connection.

  2. Optional: In the Connection name field, enter a name for the connection.

  3. In the Email field, add your person or bot email address copied above.

  4. In the API Key field, enter the API key copied above.

  5. In the Zulip Domain field, add your Zulip domain from your organization url. For example, if your organization url is https://myDomain.zulipchat.com, you should enter myDomain.

  6. Click Save.

  7. If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.

You have successfully established the connection. You can now edit your scenario and add more Zulip modules. If your connection requires reauthorization at any point, follow the connection renewal steps here.

  • Make an API Call

    Note: Enter a path relative to https://peoly.zulipchat.com/api/ . For example, /v1/users/me.
