Keep your team informed about new documents by sending Slack notifications when files are discovered in a selected Folderit DMS folder. Messages contain the file name and UID as plain text; file contents stay in Folderit. Connect Folderit DMS and select a source folder. Connect Slack and enter the destination channel ID. Invite the Make app to private channels. The primary Folderit user generates API credentials at https://my.folderit.com/user/api/. Choose From now on at the first run, upload a test file, and click Run once. Confirm the message before enabling the schedule. The starting limit is 10 files per cycle. This polling workflow does not synchronize edits, moves or deletions. Choosing All, resetting the starting point or replaying an execution can repeat notifications.
