About
France and Germany now require structured e-invoices for B2B, and most invoicing tools still produce an ordinary PDF that will not pass. This template closes the gap, without code.
Add a row to your invoice sheet and PDF Generator API turns it into a Factur-X e-invoice: one PDF/A-3 file a person can read, with EN 16931 CII XML embedded that an accounting system can parse. Google Drive archives a copy, Gmail sends it to the buyer. The same file satisfies Factur-X in France and ZUGFeRD in Germany.
Prepare your sheet. Row 1 is a header row, columns A to N:
Invoice number, Issue date, Due date, Buyer name, Buyer VAT ID, Buyer street, Buyer city, Buyer postal code, Buyer country, Buyer email, Description, Quantity, Unit price, VAT rate
Dates as YYYY-MM-DD, amounts with a dot decimal separator, country as a two letter code like FR or DE. One row is one invoice, one line item.
You also need a PDF Generator API template, which controls how the invoice looks. If you have none, copy the free ZUGFeRD and Factur-X template (https://pdfgeneratorapi.com/templates/free-templates/german-invoice-template-zugferd) and pick it during setup. One not mapped to e-invoice fields produces a blank PDF.

FAQ
Start by registering for Make. As a new Make user, you’ll automatically be assigned a free account. Once your account is set up, you can start creating your first scenarios. We recommend starting with our step-by-step video tutorial.
A scenario represents a workflow or a project of your own creation, and it is made up of a series of modules that automate apps and services. Creating a scenario allows you to transfer and transform data between apps and services via these modules to automate anything and improve the way you work.
Modules are the main building blocks of automation in Make. Modules represent actions that Make performs with an app, like creating, updating, or deleting data.
Mapping links the modules in your scenario. When you map an item, you connect the data retrieved by one module to another module to perform the desired action. For example, you can map email addresses and subject lines to create a spreadsheet using this data.
How it works
Traditional no-code iPaaS platforms are linear and non-intuitive. Make allows you to visually create, build, and automate without limits.
