Google Form responses to Slack by Flowpaja
Apps used in template
About
Flowpaja created this template. It posts a Slack message for each new Google Form response.
How it works: Google Sheets "Watch New Rows" checks your Form's response sheet on your schedule. A filter skips rows without a Timestamp. Slack "Create a Message" posts the Name, Email, Company and Message answers to one channel. Empty answers show as a dash.
Apps: Google Sheets and Slack (the scenario reads the sheet your Form writes to).
Sheet columns (row 1): Timestamp, Name, Email, Company, Message (your Form question titles).
Setup:
- Link your Form to a Google Sheet (Form > Responses > Link to Sheets).
- Connect Google and pick the spreadsheet and response tab.
- Connect Slack and enter the channel.
- Right-click the first module > Choose where to start > From now on, so older responses are not posted.
- Submit a test response, then click Run once.
Credits: each scheduled check uses 1 credit, even when nothing is new, plus 1 per new response. Every 15 minutes = up to 96 checks a day.
Limits: duplicate submissions are posted twice. Edited rows are not posted again. A fully blank row stops the trigger from reading rows below it.

FAQ
Start by registering for Make. As a new Make user, you’ll automatically be assigned a free account. Once your account is set up, you can start creating your first scenarios. We recommend starting with our step-by-step video tutorial.
A scenario represents a workflow or a project of your own creation, and it is made up of a series of modules that automate apps and services. Creating a scenario allows you to transfer and transform data between apps and services via these modules to automate anything and improve the way you work.
Modules are the main building blocks of automation in Make. Modules represent actions that Make performs with an app, like creating, updating, or deleting data.
Mapping links the modules in your scenario. When you map an item, you connect the data retrieved by one module to another module to perform the desired action. For example, you can map email addresses and subject lines to create a spreadsheet using this data.
How it works
Traditional no-code iPaaS platforms are linear and non-intuitive. Make allows you to visually create, build, and automate without limits.
