How to setup LINE and OpenAI (ChatGPT, Sora, DALL-E, Whisper) in 5 easy steps
Set up your LINE messaging channel
Log into the LINE Developers console and create a new provider, which acts as a container for your messaging projects. Then create a Messaging API channel by filling in the required information - this channel will serve as the communication bridge between LINE and Make.
Connect your LINE account to the channel
Open the Messaging API tab in your newly created channel and use your LINE mobile app to scan the QR code displayed on screen. This step links your personal LINE account to the channel, allowing messages and notifications to flow through to your account.
Generate your security credentials
In the Messaging API tab, locate the Channel access token section and click the Issue button to create your access token. Then navigate to the Basic settings tab to find and copy your User ID - these two pieces of information act as secure keys that will allow Make to communicate with your LINE account.
Create the connection in Make
Open Make and find the LINE module, then select the option to create a new connection. Paste the Channel access token and User ID you copied earlier into the appropriate fields - this step authenticates the connection and tells Make which LINE account to work with.
Enable real-time communication
Copy the webhook URL provided by Make and paste it into the Webhook URL field in LINE's Messaging API tab, then turn on the Use webhook option. This setup allows LINE to instantly notify Make whenever something happens in your LINE account, enabling real-time automation between the two platforms.
