1. Select a trigger

  • Triggers when a new message is added to a direct message channel.

  • Triggers when a new file is added.

  • Triggers when a new interactive event has arrived.

  • Triggers when a new message is added to a multiparty direct message channel.

  • Triggers when a new message or another event is created.

  • Triggers when a new message is added to a private channel.

  • Triggers when a new message is added to a public channel.

  • Triggers when a new message is scheduled.

  • Triggers when a new user is added or an existing user has changed. Only emit the latest change since the last scenario run.

2. Select an action

  • Delete or cancel an initiated read request to make space for future exports.

  • Download the available pages of a read request, returned as a CSV file.

  • Initiate a read request and confirm the request completes. Use the Download Read Request module to download the results.

  • Performs an arbitrary authorized API call.

  • If the chunk count is set to -1, the upload must be marked as complete before processing or importing.

  • Run a process and confirm the process completed.

  • Run an import task and confirm import task completed.

  • Not required if using the `Upload and Prcoess a File` module. If using the (Advanced) upload modules, it's recommend setting the chunkcount metadata of an upload so that the server knows how many chunks to process during an upload.

  • Upload a file.

  • Upload and Process a single file (not a chunked file). This module should only be used for file <50MBs.

  • Set cell values in a module.

A scenario represents a workflow or a project of your own creation, and it is made up of a series of modules that automate apps and services. Creating a scenario allows you to transfer and transform data between apps and services via these modules to automate anything and improve the way you work.

Modules are the main building blocks of automation in Make. Modules represent actions that Make performs with an app, like creating, updating, or deleting data.

Mapping links the modules in your scenario. When you map an item, you connect the data retrieved by one module to another module to perform the desired action. For example, you can map email addresses and subject lines to create a spreadsheet using this data.
