Install the Make app in your Bitrix24 account

Start by visiting the Bitrix24 apps marketplace and installing the Make app. This app acts as a bridge that allows Make to communicate with your Bitrix24 data. Once installed, you'll find it in your Applications menu and can begin setting up the connection between the two platforms.

Create a local application in Bitrix24

Go to your Bitrix24 Applications menu, navigate to Market, then Developer Resources, and create a Local Application. This creates a custom connection point that Make will use to access your Bitrix24 account. During setup, you'll configure basic settings and enter a callback URL that tells Bitrix24 where to send authentication information when Make requests access.

Set the permissions for Make

Choose which areas of your Bitrix24 account you want Make to access by selecting permissions for categories like CRM, Tasks, Users, and other features you plan to automate. Only select the permissions you actually need for your workflows to keep your connection secure. These permissions control what information and actions Make can perform within your Bitrix24 account.

Copy your connection credentials from Bitrix24

After saving your local application setup, Bitrix24 will generate two important pieces of information: a Client ID and a Client Secret. Copy both of these values and keep them handy, as you'll need to enter them into Make in the next step. These credentials work like secure keys that prove Make has permission to connect to your Bitrix24 account.

Connect Bitrix24 to Make using your credentials

Log into your Make account and add a Bitrix24 module to start building your automation. Click the Add button next to the Connection field, give your connection a descriptive name, enter your Bitrix24 domain URL, and paste in the Client ID and Client Secret you copied earlier. Click Continue to complete the connection, and you'll be ready to start automating tasks between Bitrix24 and other applications.
