1. Select a trigger

  • Triggers when every recipient has signed and the envelope is completed. Includes a download link for the signed PDF when available.

  • Triggers as soon as a new envelope is created (status DRAFT) — before it is sent to any recipient.

  • Triggers when a recipient refuses to sign. Includes who declined and the reason they gave.

  • Triggers when an envelope reaches its expiration deadline before every recipient has signed (status moves to EXPIRED).

  • Triggers when a sender resubmits an envelope after it was returned for correction.

  • Triggers when a recipient returns the envelope to the sender for correction, before it is completed.

  • Triggers when an envelope is sent to its recipients (status moves from DRAFT to SENT).

  • Triggers when the sender cancels an envelope before it is completed (status moves to VOIDED). Every pending signing link stops working.

  • Triggers when a recipient with the Approver role approves the envelope, before it is completed.

  • Triggers each time an individual recipient signs, before the envelope is completed. Fires once per signer.

  • Triggers when a recipient opens and views the envelope, before it is completed.

2. Select an action

  • Copies an email or a draft into a selected folder.

  • Creates a new draft email.

  • Deletes an email by moving it to trash.

  • Gets a specific email info.

  • Sends a custom API call to Gmail. You can use this to call endpoints that aren’t covered by existing modules.

  • Marks an email or a draft as read by setting the "Read" flag.

  • Marks an email or a draft as unread by setting the "Unread" flag.

  • Moves the chosen email or a draft to the selected folder.

  • Replies to the specified email.

  • Sends a draft email.

  • Sends a new email.

A scenario represents a workflow or a project of your own creation, and it is made up of a series of modules that automate apps and services. Creating a scenario allows you to transfer and transform data between apps and services via these modules to automate anything and improve the way you work.

Modules are the main building blocks of automation in Make. Modules represent actions that Make performs with an app, like creating, updating, or deleting data.

Mapping links the modules in your scenario. When you map an item, you connect the data retrieved by one module to another module to perform the desired action. For example, you can map email addresses and subject lines to create a spreadsheet using this data.
