Create a custom workflow

Every automation starts with a trigger and an action. Select one from each app to generate a workflow tailored to your needs.

1. Select a trigger

  • Receives data from the MAKE_FUNCTION or INTEGROMAT functions used in a sheet. Please note, the Sheets Add-On is required.

  • Triggers when a cell is updated. Watches only changes made in Google Sheet app. Sheets Add-On required.

  • Triggers when a new row is added.

2. Select an action

  • Deletes a post from ContentStudio only.

  • Invites a team member to the selected workspace.

  • Creates a campaign (folder) in the selected workspace.

  • Creates a label in the selected workspace.

  • Creates a new post in the selected workspace. Supports caption and media; choose Schedule, or Draft.

  • Creates a new workspace under the authenticated account.

  • Deletes a campaign from the selected workspace.

  • Deletes a label from the selected workspace.

  • Deletes a post from ContentStudio only.

  • Soft-deletes a workspace and schedules permanent removal.

  • Performs an arbitrary authorized API call.

  • Removes a team member. Set Confirm = true to perform the removal.

  • Approve or reject a post that is pending review in ContentStudio.

  • Updates a campaign in the selected workspace.

  • Updates a label in the selected workspace.

  • Updates an existing (not-yet-published) social post.

  • Updates a team member’s role and permissions.

  • Updates a workspace. Omitted fields keep their current values.

  • Uploads a media file from URL into the workspace media library.

A scenario represents a workflow or a project of your own creation, and it is made up of a series of modules that automate apps and services. Creating a scenario allows you to transfer and transform data between apps and services via these modules to automate anything and improve the way you work.

Modules are the main building blocks of automation in Make. Modules represent actions that Make performs with an app, like creating, updating, or deleting data.

Mapping links the modules in your scenario. When you map an item, you connect the data retrieved by one module to another module to perform the desired action. For example, you can map email addresses and subject lines to create a spreadsheet using this data.
