Connect Deputy and Google Sheets with Make. Automate manual tasks, sync real-time data, and build more efficient workflows.
Export Deputy schedules to Google Sheets
This template exports or updates Deputy schedules to a Google Sheets spreadsheet as soon as changes are made in Deputy. New schedules are added as new rows. Changes to existing schedules in Deputy will update the corresponding row in the target Google Sheets spreadsheet (sample spreadsheet here). Deletions of schedules in Deputy will NOT be synced with the spreadsheet by this template. In order to also sync the deletions, please also implement this template.
Delete Deputy schedules from Google Sheets
This scenario deletes corresponding rows from a Google Sheets spreadsheet (sample is here) whenever a schedule is deleted in Deputy. Please visit also this template which creates or updates Deputy schedules in Google Sheets. You will likely need to use both templates if you want to fully sync Deputy schedules with Google Sheets.
Create new employees in Deputy from new rows in Google Sheets
This template creates new employees in Deputy based on new rows in Google Sheets. The sample Google Sheets spreadsheet is here. The template is scheduled to run every hour. You can change this after you set up the template

FAQs
How do I get started with Make?
Start by registering for Make. As a new Make user, you’ll automatically be assigned a free account. Once your account is set up, you can start creating your first scenarios. We recommend starting with our step-by-step video tutorial.
What is a scenario?
A scenario represents a workflow or a project of your own creation, and it is made up of a series of modules that automate apps and services. Creating a scenario allows you to transfer and transform data between apps and services via these modules to automate anything and improve the way you work.
What is a module?
Modules are the main building blocks of automation in Make. Modules represent actions that Make performs with an app, like creating, updating, or deleting data.
What is mapping?
Mapping links the modules in your scenario. When you map an item, you connect the data retrieved by one module to another module to perform the desired action. For example, you can map email addresses and subject lines to create a spreadsheet using this data.
