1. Select a trigger

  • Triggers when a new message is added to a direct message channel.

  • Triggers when a new file is added.

  • Triggers when a new interactive event has arrived.

  • Triggers when a new message is added to a multiparty direct message channel.

  • Triggers when a new message or another event is created.

  • Triggers when a new message is added to a private channel.

  • Triggers when a new message is added to a public channel.

  • Triggers when a new message is scheduled.

  • Triggers when a new user is added or an existing user has changed. Only emit the latest change since the last scenario run.

2. Select an action

  • Adds a note to a user record.

  • Adds a new task. This can be associate with an existing user.

  • Adds a new activity to an existing user.

  • Adds an external user event to an existing user.

  • Sends a message from a user into the Conversations inbox. A new conversation will be created. The user must exist in Element451 and have a profile email address that matches the incoming email address.

  • Creates a new submission for a selected form. A new user is created or an existing user is updated based on the provided email address.

  • Exports data using an export template from your Element451 Instance.

  • Imports data using an import template from your Element451 Instance. This can be used to create new records or update an existing record.

  • Performs an arbitrary authorized API call.

A scenario represents a workflow or a project of your own creation, and it is made up of a series of modules that automate apps and services. Creating a scenario allows you to transfer and transform data between apps and services via these modules to automate anything and improve the way you work.

Modules are the main building blocks of automation in Make. Modules represent actions that Make performs with an app, like creating, updating, or deleting data.

Mapping links the modules in your scenario. When you map an item, you connect the data retrieved by one module to another module to perform the desired action. For example, you can map email addresses and subject lines to create a spreadsheet using this data.
