Once your project is ready, head over to Google AI Studio and click 'Get API key', then 'Create API key'. Select your Google Cloud project from the list and choose 'Create API key in existing project'. Copy the API key that appears and save it somewhere safe—you'll need this to connect Google Gemini AI to Make in the next step.

Connect Google Gemini AI to Make

Log in to your Make account and add a Google Gemini AI module to your automation. Click 'Create a connection' and a form will appear where you can optionally name your connection. Paste the API key you saved earlier into the 'API Key' field, then click 'Save' to complete the connection and follow any additional prompts that appear.

Create your Telegram Bot and get your token

To use Telegram with Make, you'll need to create a bot through BotFather. Visit https://telegram.me/BotFather or search for BotFather in Telegram, then type '/newbot' to start. Follow the prompts to choose a username for your bot. BotFather will then send you a token—think of it as a password that lets Make control your bot. Copy this token and save it securely.

Connect Telegram Bot to Make

With your bot token ready, log in to Make and add a Telegram Bot module to your scenario. Click 'Create a connection' (or 'Create a webhook' then 'Create a connection' depending on your module type). Give your connection a name if you'd like, paste your bot token into the 'Token' field, and click 'Save' to finish setting up the connection.
