How to set up Google Sheets and GPT Chatbot in 5 easy steps

Add your app module in Make

Log into your Make account and add a module for the application you want to connect, such as Google Sheets or GPT Chatbot. After adding the module to your scenario, you'll see a button to create a connection, which is your starting point for linking Make with your chosen application.

Start the connection setup process

Click the 'Create a connection' button that appears after adding your app module. You can optionally give your connection a descriptive name to help you identify it later, especially when managing multiple connections across different automation workflows.

Sign in with Google for Google Sheets

When connecting Google Sheets, click the 'Sign in with Google' button and log in with your Google account credentials. You'll be redirected to Google's authentication page where you can securely authorize Make to access your Google Sheets data.

Get your API key for GPT Chatbot

For GPT Chatbot, navigate to the Account menu and find the API Keys section to generate a new key. Copy the generated key immediately as you'll need to paste it into Make's connection setup window to establish the link between the two platforms.

Complete and verify your connection

After entering your authentication details (Google sign-in or API key), save your connection. Make will verify that the credentials are correct and that communication is working properly, and once confirmed, your connection is active and ready to use in your automation scenarios.
