Add your app module in Make

Set up your Google Cloud project

For Google Vertex AI connections, you'll need to create a project in Google Cloud Platform first. Log in with your Google account, click 'Create or select a project,' then choose 'New project.' Give your project a name, select its location, and click 'Create.' Once created, make sure your new project is selected from the dropdown menu at the top of the screen so all your settings apply correctly.

Enable the required API

In Google Cloud Platform, navigate to 'APIs & Services' and click 'Library.' Search for 'Vertex AI Gemini API' and click on it when it appears in the results. Click the 'Enable' button to activate this service for your project. This step allows Make to communicate with Google's AI services through your account.

Complete the connection

Return to Make and continue the connection process by clicking 'Sign in with Google' or 'Save' depending on which app you're connecting. You'll be redirected to authenticate and grant Make permission to access your services. For WhatsApp Business Cloud, you'll also select your Facebook business assets and set up your WhatsApp Business profile. Once authenticated, your connection is ready to use in your automation scenarios.
