Create a custom workflow

Every automation starts with a trigger and an action. Select one from each app to generate a workflow tailored to your needs.

1. Select a trigger

  • Receives data from the MAKE_FUNCTION or INTEGROMAT functions used in a sheet. Please note, the Sheets Add-On is required.

  • Triggers when a cell is updated. Watches only changes made in Google Sheet app. Sheets Add-On required.

  • Triggers when a new row is added.

2. Select an action

  • Adds a data table. Only the name of the data table can be specified. A maximum of 100 data tables can be added.

  • Copies a Bitable.

  • Creates a Bitable with a blank data table.

  • Adds a field to a Bitable data table.

  • Queries existing records in a data table.

  • Deletes multiple data tables. If there is only one data table left in the Bitable, it is not allowed to be deleted.

  • Deletes a field in a Bitable data table.

  • Deletes a record in a Bitable data table.

  • Downloads materials from a Bitable.

  • Retrieves metadata information of a specified Bitable.

  • Obtains a temporary download link for materials in a cloud document. The link is valid for 24 hours and will expire after that.

  • Queries existing records in a data table.

  • Lists all data tables in a Bitable.

  • Performs an arbitrary authorized API call.

  • Updates the metadata of a Bitable, including the name of the Bitable and whether to enable advanced permissions.

  • Updates a field in a Bitable data table.

  • Update a Bitable Metadata.

  • Updates a record in a Bitable data table.

  • Uploads materials such as files, images, and videos to a specified Bitable.

A scenario represents a workflow or a project of your own creation, and it is made up of a series of modules that automate apps and services. Creating a scenario allows you to transfer and transform data between apps and services via these modules to automate anything and improve the way you work.

Modules are the main building blocks of automation in Make. Modules represent actions that Make performs with an app, like creating, updating, or deleting data.

Mapping links the modules in your scenario. When you map an item, you connect the data retrieved by one module to another module to perform the desired action. For example, you can map email addresses and subject lines to create a spreadsheet using this data.
