Set up your Google Cloud Platform project

Before you can connect Google Gemini AI to Make, you'll need to create a project in Google Cloud Platform. Log in with your Google credentials, click 'Create or select a project' followed by 'New project', give it a name, choose a location, and click 'Create'. Make sure your new project is selected from the dropdown menu at the top so you're ready for the next steps.

Get your API key from Google AI Studio

With your Google Cloud project ready, head to Google AI Studio to obtain your API key. Click 'Get API key', then 'Create API key', and select your Google Cloud project from the list. Click 'Create API key in existing project' and copy the key that appears. Save this key somewhere safe as you'll need it to complete the connection in Make.

Connect Google Gemini AI to Make

Now you're ready to link everything together in Make. Log in to your Make account, add a Google Gemini AI module to your workflow, and click 'Create a connection'. You can give your connection a descriptive name if you'd like. Paste the API key you copied from Google AI Studio into the 'API Key' field, click 'Save', and follow any prompts to authenticate your account.

Gather your Miro connection credentials

To connect Miro to Make, you'll need to collect some information from your Miro account. Go to your profile settings in Miro, select 'Apps', and click on the app you want to connect. You'll need to copy three pieces of information: your Client ID and Client Secret from the App Credentials section, and your Team ID from the User and Team Management section under 'Teams'.

Create your Miro connection in Make

With your Miro credentials ready, log in to Make and add a Miro module to your workflow. Click 'Create a connection' and optionally give it a name. Enter the Client ID, Client Secret, and Team ID you copied from Miro into the appropriate fields, then click 'Save'. Follow any on-screen instructions to authenticate, and your connection will be ready to use for automating tasks between Miro and Make.
