Sign into your Perplexity AI account and click on the Settings icon next to your username. From the menu that appears, select the API option to reach the area where you'll manage your connection credentials.

Set up your API access and payment

Create a new API group by filling in the required information and clicking Save. You'll then need to enter your payment details to enable API usage, though your card won't be charged during this setup process.

Generate and save your API key

Navigate to the API Keys tab and click the Create Key button to generate a new key. Copy this API key and store it somewhere safe, as you'll need it to connect Perplexity AI with Make in the following steps.

Log into your Make account and open the scenario where you want to use Perplexity AI. Add a Perplexity AI module to your workflow and click the option to create a new connection between the two platforms.
