Popular Tools and Google Drive workflows
Connect Tools and Google Drive with Make. Automate manual tasks, sync real-time data, and build more efficient workflows.
Add new Google Calendar events to a Google Sheets spreadsheet as new rows and email it to a specified email address
Every time a new event is created in a Google calendar, Make will automatically add that event to your Google Sheets spreadsheet as a new row. The spreadsheet will be then sent to a specified email address. The template uses this example spreadsheet.
Transcribe new long mp3 files from Google Drive with Google Cloud Speech
Every time a new mp3 audio file longer than 1 minute is added to Google Drive, Make will automatically transcribe it with Google Cloud Speech and save text to Google Docs document.
Transforming the payment settlement reports from Apaleo
Reconciling and booking the settlement reports in your financial accounting system can be painful. This template allows reading and merging the settlement files from Apaleo Pay into one and converting them to an accounting-friendly format.

FAQs
How do I get started with Make?
Start by registering for Make. As a new Make user, you’ll automatically be assigned a free account. Once your account is set up, you can start creating your first scenarios. We recommend starting with our step-by-step video tutorial.
What is a scenario?
A scenario represents a workflow or a project of your own creation, and it is made up of a series of modules that automate apps and services. Creating a scenario allows you to transfer and transform data between apps and services via these modules to automate anything and improve the way you work.
What is a module?
Modules are the main building blocks of automation in Make. Modules represent actions that Make performs with an app, like creating, updating, or deleting data.
What is mapping?
Mapping links the modules in your scenario. When you map an item, you connect the data retrieved by one module to another module to perform the desired action. For example, you can map email addresses and subject lines to create a spreadsheet using this data.
