Popular Wave and Google Sheets workflows
Connect Wave and Google Sheets with Make. Automate manual tasks, sync real-time data, and build more efficient workflows.
Create Wave Income/Expense from Loyverse receipts
This template periodically checks for new receipts in Loyverse and uses the retrieved information to check the receipt type. If the type is "Sales" it will create an income in Wave. If the type is "Refund" it will create an expense in Wave. It will also add a new row to a Google Sheet. This example uses this sheet. The template is scheduled to run every 15 minutes. You can change the schedule after you set up the template.
Save each item of your new Wave invoices in a Google Sheets spreadsheet
Each time a new Wave invoice is created, Make automatically stores each item's information (unit price, quantity, date) in a new Google Sheets row.
Record Wave transactions for new Google Sheets rows
This template shows how to export your bank or credit card statements to Wave. Every time a new row of expense (or income) is added to your Google Sheets spreadsheet, Make will automatically create an accounting transaction in Wave. The template uses this example spreadsheet.

FAQs
How do I get started with Make?
Start by registering for Make. As a new Make user, you’ll automatically be assigned a free account. Once your account is set up, you can start creating your first scenarios. We recommend starting with our step-by-step video tutorial.
What is a scenario?
A scenario represents a workflow or a project of your own creation, and it is made up of a series of modules that automate apps and services. Creating a scenario allows you to transfer and transform data between apps and services via these modules to automate anything and improve the way you work.
What is a module?
Modules are the main building blocks of automation in Make. Modules represent actions that Make performs with an app, like creating, updating, or deleting data.
What is mapping?
Mapping links the modules in your scenario. When you map an item, you connect the data retrieved by one module to another module to perform the desired action. For example, you can map email addresses and subject lines to create a spreadsheet using this data.
