AI & Process Automation Intern
Prague, Czechia
Make is the leading visual platform for anyone to design, build, and automate anything—from tasks and workflows to apps and systems—without the need for coding skills. We are headquartered in the flourishing tech hub of Prague, Czech Republic, and our teams are spread across the USA, UK, Germany, France, Canada, India and Chile, among other locations.
Our mission within Product Operations is to drive growth and efficiency by empowering our teams with the right processes, data, and tools. We believe that applying cutting-edge technology, including AI, can fundamentally transform how we operate and help us scale our efforts exponentially.
As an AI & Process Automation Intern, you will be a hands-on builder and innovator. You'll work closely with the Head of Product Operations to design and develop a prototype AI agent and other automation tools that will help us grow. This internship will give you a unique opportunity to apply your technical skills to real-world business challenges and directly impact how our organization operates.
Responsibilities:
- AI Agent Development: Assist in designing, building, and testing a prototype AI agent to help with internal operations, such as summarizing customer feedback, generating reports, or automating routine tasks.
- Technical Process Automation: Develop and implement internal workflows using the Make.com platform and other scripting languages (e.g., Python) to improve efficiency for Product, Engineering, and Growth teams.
- Data Preparation & Prompt Engineering: Assist with data cleaning and preparation to train the AI agent. You'll also help with prompt engineering to refine the agent’s responses and capabilities.
- Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain technical documentation for the AI agent and other automated workflows.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with foundational AI/ML concepts and frameworks.
- Experience with APIs and an understanding of data structures.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and a creative problem-solver.
- A strong interest in emerging technology, including automation and AI.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and tools like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with Make’s no-code automation platform.
- A strong willingness to learn is more important than meeting every single requirement, especially if you lack experience in a particular area mentioned.
