OAuth lets you grant access directly through Airtable with just a few clicks, while Personal Access Token uses a special code you create in your Airtable account. Pick the option that feels most comfortable for you, as both work equally well.
Set up your Airtable connection
If using OAuth, select it as your connection type, name your connection, and click through to grant access to your Airtable base. If using a token, go to your Airtable account, find the Developer hub in your profile menu, create a personal access token, and copy it. Back in Make, paste this token into the connection field and save to complete the link.
Get your Google Gemini AI access key
To connect Google Gemini AI, you'll need an API key from Google AI Studio. Log in with your Google account, click 'Get API key', and create one linked to your Google Cloud project. Copy this key immediately and keep it safe, as you'll need to paste it into Make to establish the connection between the platforms.
Complete your Gemini AI connection in Make
In Make, add the Google Gemini AI module and click to create a connection. Give your connection a descriptive name so you can recognize it later, then paste the API key you copied from Google AI Studio into the designated field.
