Get your access credentials from the application
Start by logging into the application you want to connect, like Anthropic Claude or Looker Studio. Navigate to the section where you can create API keys or credentials—for Claude, look for a key icon in the bottom-left corner, and for Looker Studio, go to the Credentials section in Google Cloud Platform. Generate new credentials by clicking the create button and following the prompts. Once created, immediately copy these credentials and store them safely, as you may not be able to view them again.
Add the application module to your Make scenario
Log into your Make account and open the scenario where you want to use the connection. Add the module for the application you're connecting (such as Anthropic Claude or Looker Studio) to your workflow. This module represents the specific actions or features you want to use from that application in your automation.
Start creating your connection
When you add the module, click the 'Create a connection' button that appears. This will open a form where you'll set up the link between Make and your chosen application. Enter your credentials in Make
In the connection form, you can give your connection a descriptive name to help identify it later. Save and activate your connection
Click the 'Save' button to complete your connection setup. You may be asked to confirm that you want to grant Make access to your application. Once saved, your connection is ready to use, and you can now incorporate that application's features into your Make scenarios and begin automating tasks between the two services.
