How to setup Evernote and Perplexity AI in 5 easy steps
Add your app module to Make
Log in to your Make account and begin creating your automation. Select either Evernote or Perplexity AI from the list of available apps and add it to your scenario. You'll see a button to create a connection, which is your starting point for linking Make with your chosen application.
Start the connection process
Click the 'Create a connection' button that appears after adding your app module. This opens the connection setup where you'll authorize Make to work with your application. Depending on whether you chose Evernote or Perplexity AI, you'll either be redirected to authorize access or asked to enter an API key.
Get your Perplexity AI API key
If you're connecting Perplexity AI, you'll need an API key first. Log in to your Perplexity AI account, click the Settings icon next to your username, and go to the API section. Create a new API key and copy it carefully, as you'll paste this into Make to establish the connection.
Complete the authorization
For Perplexity AI, paste your API key into the connection dialog in Make and optionally name your connection. For Evernote, you'll be redirected to the Evernote website where you'll click 'Authorize' to grant Make permission to access your notes and notebooks. This step allows Make to securely communicate with your chosen app.
Save and start using your connection
Click the 'Save' button to finalize your connection. Make will verify your credentials and establish a secure link with your application. Once saved, your connection is ready to use in your automation scenarios, allowing you to combine Evernote and Perplexity AI with other apps in your workflows.
