Set up your Figma developer app
Visit Figma's developer portal and create a new app by clicking the 'Create' button. Give your app a descriptive name and select which team it belongs to, then complete the creation process. This app serves as the secure bridge that allows Make to communicate with your Figma account.
Add the callback address
When prompted, enter the callback URI provided by Make (https://www.integromat.com/oauth/cb/figma). This special web address is essential because it tells Figma where to send confirmation information after you authorize the connection between the two platforms.
Copy your security credentials
After creating your Figma app, you'll see two important pieces of information: a Client ID and a Client Secret. Copy both of these carefully and keep them handy. Think of the Client ID as a username and the Client Secret as a password that Make needs to securely access your Figma account.
Add Figma to your Make scenario
In your Make account, open the automation scenario where you want to use Figma and add the Figma module. This module represents the Figma actions you want to automate. Once added, look for the option to create a new connection within the module settings.
Complete the connection in Make
Click 'Create a connection' in the Figma module and paste the Client ID and Client Secret you copied from Figma into the appropriate fields. You can also give your connection a memorable name to help you identify it later. Once you save these settings, Make and Figma will be connected and ready to work together.
