How to setup Gmail and Anthropic Claude in 5 easy steps
Get your API key from Anthropic Claude
Before you can connect Anthropic Claude to Make, you'll need an API key, which acts like a secure password that allows the two platforms to communicate. Log in to your Anthropic Claude console and click on the key icon in the bottom-left corner to access the API keys section where you can create a new key.
Create and name your API key
Click the '+ Create Key' button and select your workspace from the available options. Give your API key a descriptive name like 'Make Integration' so you can remember its purpose later, then click 'Add' to generate the key.
Save your API key securely
Once your API key is generated, copy it immediately and store it in a safe place like a password manager or secure document. This is crucial because you won't be able to view this key again after you close the window, so make sure you've saved it before proceeding.
Add Anthropic Claude module in Make
Log in to your Make account and open the automation scenario where you want to use Anthropic Claude. Add an Anthropic Claude module to your workflow, and when prompted, click 'Create a connection' to begin linking the two platforms together.
Complete the connection in Make
In the connection form that appears, you can optionally give your connection a descriptive name to help you identify it later. Paste the API key you copied from Anthropic Claude into the 'API Key' field, making sure there are no extra spaces, then click 'Save' to complete the connection and start using Anthropic Claude in your automation.
