How to setup Gmail and Mistral AI in 5 easy steps
Get your API key from Mistral AI
Log into your Mistral AI account and navigate to the API Keys section in your Workspace sidebar. Click to create a new API key, give it a memorable name like 'Make Integration', and immediately copy the unique code that appears. Store this key safely because you won't be able to see it again once you leave the page.
Open your Make scenario
Log into your Make account and open the automation scenario where you want to use Mistral AI. Search for and add a Mistral AI module to your workflow. Once the module appears in your scenario, you'll see an option to create a new connection.
Start the connection process
Click the 'Create a connection' button inside the Mistral AI module you just added. A form will open asking for the information needed to link Make with your Mistral AI account. This process is straightforward and only requires a couple of pieces of information.
Enter your connection details
In the connection form, you can optionally give your connection a descriptive name like 'My Mistral AI Connection' to help you identify it later. Then, paste the API key you copied from Mistral AI into the API Key field, making sure to include the entire key exactly as it appears without any extra spaces.
Save and start using your connection
Click the Save button to complete your connection setup. Once saved, Make can now communicate with your Mistral AI account, and you can immediately start using Mistral AI's features in your automated workflows. The connection is ready to use in your scenarios right away.
