How to setup Gmail and Perplexity AI in 5 easy steps
Get your API key from Perplexity AI
Log into your Perplexity AI account and click on the Settings icon next to your username. Navigate to the API section in the sidebar menu, then go to the API Keys tab and click the Create Key button to generate a new API key. Copy this key and save it somewhere safe, as you'll need it to connect with Make.
Open your Make scenario
Log into your Make account and open the automation scenario where you want to use Perplexity AI. This is the workspace where you'll build your automation workflow by connecting different apps together to perform tasks automatically.
Add the Perplexity AI module
In your Make scenario, add a Perplexity AI module to your workflow. This module represents the Perplexity AI app and will allow you to use its features within your automation. Once added, click the Create a connection button to start linking it to your Perplexity AI account.
Enter your connection details
Give your connection a descriptive name in the Connection name field so you can easily identify it later, especially if you work with multiple connections. Then paste the API key you copied from Perplexity AI into the API Key field in Make to establish the secure link between the two platforms.
Save and complete the connection
Click the Save button to finalize the connection between Make and Perplexity AI. If prompted, confirm access to complete the setup. Your connection is now ready, and you can start using Perplexity AI's features in your Make automation scenarios.
