How to setup LinkedIn and Anthropic Claude in 5 easy steps
Get your Anthropic Claude API key
Before you can connect Anthropic Claude to Make, you'll need an API key from your Anthropic Claude account. Log into the Anthropic Claude console and look for the key icon in the bottom-left corner. Click the Create Key button, select your workspace, give your key a name, and copy it immediately to save somewhere safe since you won't be able to see it again later.
Add Anthropic Claude to your Make scenario
Log into your Make account and add an Anthropic Claude module to your automation scenario. Click the Create a connection button to start linking the two services. Paste the API key you copied earlier into the API Key field, optionally give your connection a memorable name, and click Save to complete the setup.
Choose your LinkedIn connection method
LinkedIn offers two ways to connect with Make: a standard LinkedIn connection and a LinkedIn OpenID Connect option. For most users, the standard LinkedIn connection is straightforward and works great for everyday automation needs. Both methods are secure and will allow LinkedIn to communicate with Make effectively.
Connect your LinkedIn account to Make
Add a LinkedIn module to your Make scenario and click the Create a Connection button. You can give your connection a custom name to help identify it later, which is especially useful if you'll be using multiple connections. After clicking Save, you'll be asked to log into your LinkedIn account and confirm that you want to allow Make to access it.
Wait for your LinkedIn connection to activate
After creating your LinkedIn connection, the permissions might take a few minutes to fully activate. If you encounter a permissions error when first trying to use your connection, simply wait up to 5 minutes and try again. This brief delay is normal and ensures all settings are properly configured before you start automating your LinkedIn tasks.
