Set up your Google Cloud project
Begin by logging into Google Cloud Platform with your Google account. Create a new project by giving it a name, then make sure to enable the Google Keep API from the API Library. This allows Make to communicate with your Google Keep account.
Configure OAuth consent screen
Set up your OAuth consent screen by entering 'Make' as your app name and providing your email address. Select 'External' as your audience type and complete the required contact information. This security step lets Google know that Make is authorized to access your data.
Create OAuth client credentials
Create an OAuth client by selecting 'Web application' as your type and adding 'make.com' and 'integromat.com' as authorized domains. Then add the redirect URI 'https://www.integromat.com/oauth/cb/google-custom/' which ensures users are returned to Make after granting permission.
Save your client ID and secret
After creating your OAuth client, copy both the Client ID and Client secret that appear on your screen. Store these credentials securely as you'll need them to complete the connection in Make.
Connect Google Keep in Make
Log into Make and add a Google Keep module to your workflow. Click 'Create a connection' and paste your Client ID and Client secret into the connection form. Sign in with Google when prompted to authenticate and authorize access, completing your connection setup.
