How to setup OpenAI (ChatGPT, Sora, DALL-E, Whisper) and Manychat in 5 easy steps
Get your Manychat API token
Log into your Manychat account and go to Settings, then select API. Click the 'Generate Your Token' button to create a unique access key. This token is like a secure password that allows Make to safely communicate with your Manychat account. Copy this token carefully and keep it handy for the next step.
Connect Manychat to Make
Open Make and find the Manychat module in your workflow. Click on it to open the settings and you'll see a connection dialog box. Paste the API token you copied from Manychat into the token field, making sure there are no extra spaces. Click 'Continue' to establish the connection between Make and Manychat.
Add a trigger button in your Manychat flow
In Manychat, open the conversation flow where you want to connect with Make. Add a button or quick reply that your subscribers can click. In the button settings, click '+Action' and select 'Trigger Make' from the options. This button will be what starts your Make automation whenever someone clicks it.
Link your Make scenario to the button
After selecting 'Trigger Make' as your action, choose the webhook name from your Make scenario in the field provided. This links your Manychat button directly to your Make automation. Now when a subscriber clicks this button in a conversation, it will automatically trigger your Make workflow to run.
Test your connection
Try clicking the button you created in Manychat to make sure everything works correctly. Check your Make dashboard to confirm that the automation ran as expected. If the test is successful, your connection is ready and you can start automating interactions between Manychat and other apps through Make.
