Log into your Runway Developer Portal and navigate to the API Keys section. Click the '+ New API Key' button to generate a new security key that will allow Make to connect with your Runway account securely.
Name and save your API key
Give your new API key a memorable name like 'Make Integration' so you can easily identify it later. Copy the API key value immediately and store it in a safe place, as Runway will only show it once for security reasons.
Add Runway to your Make scenario
Open your Make account and add a Runway module to your automation workflow. When the connection prompt appears, click the 'Create a connection' button to start linking your Runway account with Make.
Enter your API key in Make
Paste the API key you copied from Runway into the API Key field in Make. This key acts as a secure bridge that allows Make to access your Runway account and perform automated tasks on your behalf.
Save your connection
Click the Save button to complete the connection process. If prompted to confirm access, follow the authentication steps, and you'll be ready to use Runway in your Make automation scenarios.
