How to setup Perplexity AI and Email in 5 easy steps
Add your Email module to Make
Log into your Make account and add an Email module to your automation scenario. When setting up the connection, select 'Google Restricted' as your connection type to connect Gmail with Make, then give your connection a meaningful name so you can easily identify it later.
Save and authenticate your Email connection
Click the Save button to create your Email connection. You'll be asked to authenticate your Gmail account and grant Make permission to access it, which allows the two services to work together securely.
Get your Perplexity AI API key
Before connecting Perplexity AI to Make, you need an API key from Perplexity AI. Log into your Perplexity AI account, click the Settings icon next to your username, then navigate to the API section in the left sidebar where you can manage your API keys.
Generate and copy your API key
In the API Portal, go to the API Keys tab and click the '+ Create Key' button to generate a new API key. Copy this key immediately and store it in a safe place, as you'll need it to complete your connection in Make.
Connect Perplexity AI to Make
Return to Make and add a Perplexity AI module to your scenario. Click 'Create a connection,' optionally give it a descriptive name, then paste the API key you copied from Perplexity AI into the API Key field and click Save to complete the setup.
