How to setup RSS and Anthropic Claude in 5 easy steps
Get your Anthropic Claude API key
Log into your Anthropic Claude console and click the key icon in the bottom-left corner. Click '+ Create Key', select your workspace, give your key a descriptive name, and click 'Add'. Copy this key immediately and store it safely in a password manager, as you won't be able to see it again once you close the window.
Add Anthropic Claude to your Make scenario
Open your Make account and go to your scenario. Add an Anthropic Claude module from the available apps list, then click 'Create a connection' to start linking it to Make. This module will allow you to use Claude's AI capabilities within your automation workflow.
Connect Anthropic Claude with your API key
In the connection window, you can optionally give your connection a descriptive name to help identify it later. Paste the API key you copied earlier into the 'API Key' field, making sure to include the entire key without extra spaces. Click 'Save' to establish the connection between Make and Anthropic Claude.
Find and add your RSS feed
Locate the RSS feed URL of the website you want to monitor, typically by adding '/feed' or '/rss' to the website's address. In your Make scenario, add an RSS module and enter this feed URL into the 'URL' field so Make knows which website to watch for new content.

Set the 'Maximum number of returned items' field to control how many RSS feed items Make should handle each time it runs. Starting with a lower number helps ensure your automation runs smoothly, and you can adjust this based on how frequently the feed updates and your processing needs.
