Add the Shopify module to your Make workflow
Log into your Make account and open your automation scenario. Find the Shopify module from the list of available apps and add it to your workflow. Once added, click the 'Create a connection' button to start linking your Shopify store with Make. This module acts as the bridge between your Shopify store and Make, allowing them to communicate and share data automatically.
Select your connection type
Make will prompt you to choose how you want to connect. For most users, selecting the standard 'Shopify' option is the most straightforward choice. This selection determines how Make will interact with your Shopify store, so pick the option that matches your comfort level and needs.
Name and identify your connection
Give your connection a clear, memorable name that helps you recognize it later, such as 'My Shopify Store' or 'Main Store Connection'. This is especially helpful if you plan to create multiple automations. While this naming step is optional, it makes managing your connections simpler as your automation library grows.
Enter your Shopify store information
In the Domain field, type only the unique part of your Shopify store address. For example, if your full store URL is 'mystore.myshopify.com', just enter 'mystore'. Make sure to leave out the '.myshopify.com' part—just the store name is all Make needs to locate your specific store.
Authorize and complete the connection
Click 'Save' to proceed, and a Shopify window will appear asking you to confirm the connection. This authorization ensures you're the store owner and that you approve Make's access to your store. Review the permissions Make is requesting, then click 'Install' to finalize the connection. Your Shopify store is now linked with Make and ready to use in your automations.
