How to setup Stripe and Perplexity AI in 5 easy steps
Get your Perplexity AI API key
Before you can connect Perplexity AI to Make, you need to obtain an API key from Perplexity AI. Log into your Perplexity AI account and click the Settings icon next to your username. Navigate to the API section in the left sidebar, create a new API group, then go to the API Keys tab and click Create Key to generate your API key. Copy this key and keep it handy as you'll need it in the next steps.
Get your Stripe API key
To connect Stripe to Make, you'll need an API key from your Stripe account. Log into Stripe and click Developers in the upper right corner, then navigate to the API keys tab. In the Restricted keys section, click Create restricted key and choose the option for providing this key to another website. Name it Make, enter https://make.com as the URL, create the key, and copy it for later use.
Add a module to your Make scenario
Log into your Make account and start building your automation by adding either a Perplexity AI or Stripe module to your scenario. When you add a module, you'll see an option to create a connection, which is where you'll link Make to your chosen application. This is the starting point for making your apps work together automatically.
Connect Perplexity AI to Make
After adding a Perplexity AI module, click Create a connection and optionally give it a descriptive name to help you identify it later. Paste the API key you copied from your Perplexity AI account into the API Key field and click Save. If prompted, authenticate your account to confirm access and complete the connection setup.
Connect Stripe to Make
When adding a Stripe module, click Create a connection and select Stripe API Key as your connection type. You can optionally enter a custom name for quick identification, then paste the API key you copied from your Stripe account into the Key field. Click Save and authenticate if prompted to finalize the connection, and you'll be ready to start automating your Stripe tasks.
