How to setup Vapi and Google Sheets in 5 easy steps
Add your app module to start the connection
Log in to your Make account and open your scenario. Click to add a module for the app you want to connect, like Google Sheets or Vapi. Once the module appears, click the 'Create a connection' button to begin linking Make with your application.
Name your connection for identification
You'll see a field where you can enter a custom name for your connection. While optional, giving it a clear, descriptive name helps you recognize it later, especially when managing multiple connections across different automation projects.
Get your API key from Vapi
If connecting Vapi, log in to your Vapi account and go to the 'Build' section in the left sidebar. Click on 'Vapi API Keys' and copy your private key. Return to Make and paste this key into the 'API Key' field in the connection setup window.
Sign in with Google for Google Sheets
If you're connecting Google Sheets, click the 'Sign in with Google' button. A new window will open where you can select your Google account and grant Make the necessary permissions to access your Google Sheets data securely.
