How to setup Wix and OpenAI (ChatGPT, Sora, DALL-E, Whisper) in 5 easy steps
Navigate to your Wix developer dashboard
Log into your Wix account and go to the developer dashboard, which is your control center for managing technical settings. From there, find and click on the Custom Apps section where Wix stores the special credentials needed to connect your site to Make.
Select the app you want to connect
Browse through your list of apps in the Custom Apps page and click on the specific app you want to link with Make. This opens a dedicated dashboard where you can access the settings and security information needed for the connection.
Access your app's security credentials
In the top right corner of your app dashboard, click the More Actions button to reveal additional options. Select View ID and keys from the dropdown menu to open a window displaying your app's unique identification credentials.
Copy your connection keys
In the credentials window, you'll see two important pieces of information: a Client ID and a Client Secret. Copy both of these carefully, as they work together like a username and password to create a secure connection between Wix and Make.
Complete the setup in Make
Open your Make account and add the Wix module to your automation. Click Create a connection, then paste the Client ID and Client Secret you copied from Wix into the appropriate fields, give your connection a name, and follow the remaining prompts to finalize the setup.
