Open Telegram and search for BotFather, which is Telegram's official tool for creating bots. Start a chat with BotFather and type /newbot to begin the setup process. Follow the prompts to give your bot a name and username, and BotFather will generate a special token for you—a long string of numbers and letters that you'll need to save carefully.
Save your bot token securely
After BotFather creates your bot, it will send you a unique token that acts as a password for your bot. Copy this entire token immediately and store it in a safe place like a password manager or secure note. This token is essential for connecting your Telegram bot to Make, so make sure you don't lose it or share it with anyone.
Add the Telegram module to your Make scenario
Log into your Make account and navigate to the scenario where you want to use Telegram. In your scenario, search for and add a Telegram Bot module, which represents the specific action or trigger you want your bot to perform. These modules are the building blocks that let Make communicate with your Telegram bot.
Create a new connection in Make
Inside the Telegram Bot module you just added, click the 'Create a connection' button to start linking your bot to Make.
