How to set up Anthropic Claude and Gmail in 5 easy steps

Get your API key from Anthropic Claude

Log into your Anthropic Claude console and look for the key icon in the bottom-left corner. Click on it to access the API keys section, then click 'Create Key' to generate a new key. Give it a descriptive name so you can identify it later, and immediately copy the key to a safe place like a password manager, as you won't be able to see it again.

Open your Make scenario

Log into your Make account and go to the scenario where you want to use Anthropic Claude. This is the workspace where you'll build your automation by connecting different applications together to create an automated workflow.

Add the Anthropic Claude module to your workflow

In your Make scenario, add an Anthropic Claude module to begin the connection process. This module represents the Anthropic Claude application in your workflow and will prompt you to create a connection between Make and your Anthropic Claude account.

Set up the connection in Make

Click the 'Create a connection' button when prompted by the module. You can optionally give your connection a meaningful name to help you identify it later, especially if you plan to use multiple connections in different scenarios.

Enter your API key and save

Paste the API key you copied from Anthropic Claude into the designated field in Make. Click the 'Save' button to complete the connection. Once saved, your Anthropic Claude application is now connected to Make and ready to use in your automated workflows.
