Get your Anthropic Claude API key

Before connecting Anthropic Claude to Make, you'll need an API key from your Anthropic Claude account. Log in to your Anthropic Claude console and look for the key icon in the bottom-left corner to access your API keys section. Click the "+ Create Key" button, select your workspace, and give your key a memorable name. After you create it, copy the key immediately and save it somewhere safe—you won't be able to see it again. This key is what allows Make to communicate securely with Anthropic Claude.

Add an Anthropic Claude module to your scenario

Once you have your API key, open your Make account and navigate to the scenario where you want to use Anthropic Claude. Add an Anthropic Claude module to your scenario by selecting it from the available apps. When you add the module, you'll see an option to create a connection. Click on "Create a connection" to begin linking Make with your Anthropic Claude account. This is the bridge that will allow the two services to work together.

Enter your API key and save your connection

In the connection setup screen, you can give your connection a descriptive name to help you remember what it's for later. This is especially helpful if you plan to create multiple connections. In the "API Key" field, paste the API key you copied from your Anthropic Claude account earlier. Make sure you paste the complete key without any extra spaces, then click the "Save" button to establish the connection between Make and Anthropic Claude.

Download and install the Make app on your iOS device

To connect your Apple iOS device with Make, you first need to install the official Make app from the App Store. Search for "Make" (formerly Integromat) in the App Store on your iPhone or iPad. Download and install the app on your device. This app is the key to enabling your iOS device to communicate with your Make account and run automations directly from your phone or tablet.

Open the Make app on your iOS device and prepare to connect it to your Make account. You'll need to log in by scanning a QR code or manually entering a pairing code. Generate this pairing code by going to the "Devices" tab in your Make account in your web browser.
