Set up your Google Cloud Platform project

Before connecting Google Gemini AI to Make, you need to create a project in Google Cloud Platform. Log in to Google Cloud Platform with your Google account, click 'Create or select a project' followed by 'New project', then enter a project name and location. This project acts as a container for your connection settings and allows Google services to communicate with Make securely.

Generate your API key in Google AI Studio

Navigate to Google AI Studio using your Google credentials and click 'Get API key' then 'Create API key'. Select your existing Google Cloud project from the list and click 'Create API key in existing project'. Copy the API key that appears and save it somewhere safe, as you'll need this to connect Gemini AI to Make.

Connect Google Gemini AI in Make

Log in to your Make account and add a Google Gemini AI module to your workflow scenario. Click 'Create a connection' and optionally give your connection a descriptive name. Paste the API key you copied from Google AI Studio into the API Key field, then click 'Save' to complete the connection setup.

Start your Google Drive connection

To connect Google Drive to Make, add a Google Drive module to your scenario and click 'Create a connection'. You can optionally enter a descriptive name for this connection to help you identify it later.
