Get your API token from Respond.io

Start by logging into your Respond.io account and navigating to the Settings menu. From there, go to the Integrations section and find the Developer API option. Click Edit, then select Add Access Token to generate a special code that will allow Make to connect with your Respond.io account. This token is like a secure password, so copy it immediately and store it somewhere safe - you'll only see it once.

Open your Make scenario

Log into your Make account and open the automation scenario where you want to use Respond.io. A scenario is simply the workflow you're building to automate tasks. In this scenario, you'll add the Respond.io module, which represents your Respond.io account within the automation. This module is where data will flow between Make and Respond.io.

Start creating the connection

Once you've added the Respond.io module to your scenario, look for the Create a connection button and click it. This tells Make that you want to link your Respond.io account to this automation. Complete the connection

Paste the API token you copied from Respond.io into the authentication field on the Make connection screen. This token allows Make to securely access your Respond.io account.
