Sara Maldon
Head of Business Automation & AI at Make. Sara leads AI Transformation and Business Automation at Make, where she built the company's entire AI adoption. She has spoken on AI transformation, agentic systems, and enterprise automation at global stages including Web Summit, AI Summit Europe, and the Nordic Growth Summit. Her hands-on work at Make — including building and deploying 400+ live AI agents and 5,000+ automations — gives her a practitioner's perspective on what it actually takes to move from AI hype to measurable business impact. She is also a published researcher on LLMs and legal outcome prediction, a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), and an advocate for women in tech and AI.

With a unique background spanning Law (LLB First Class, UCL), Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and a Master of Analytics & Management from London Business School, Sara brings rare cross-disciplinary depth to AI strategy: she understands the legal and governance landscape as sharply as she does the technical architecture. Before spearheading AI transformation at Make, Sara managed data projects at a Paris-based scale-up and led a cybersecurity program at BNP Paribas. She is also a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in tech, with a focus on supporting women in STEM.
