Visual Design Specialist

We’re looking for a sharp, organized and creatively ambitious designer to join our Brand Design team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone building depth in the field - ready to own smaller projects and contribute to larger, multi-channel campaigns as part of a collaborative team.

You don’t just make things look good. You bring structure, ask thoughtful questions, and want to help shape how a fast-growing brand shows up - across digital channels, event experiences, and beyond.

 

Responsibilities:

Design and production

• Create impactful assets for social media, slide decks, websites, print materials and more
• Apply and improve Make’s brand system, bringing visual consistency and fresh thinking
• Recommend visual directions and deliver strong design work with regular feedback
• Use design tools (including AI) to work efficiently and focus on high-impact projects

Campaigns and events

• Own and contribute to product and brand campaigns across channels
• Support the creative expression of live events, including Waves - our flagship customer conference
• Help shape event experiences that have an impact both online and in person

Creative process and collaboration

• Work with writers, marketers and producers to deliver creative that has impact
• Share feedback and develop design team processes to keep work moving smoothly
• Suggest process improvements and, when needed, brief external designers or vendors

 

What we’re looking for:

• A portfolio of polished, on-brand creative across digital and/or experiential formats
• 2+ years of experience in brand, visual or marketing design - ideally in B2B or tech
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and using AI design tools 
• Motion design skills a plus, but not required
• You understand how design and messaging work together to drive clarity and impact
• Experience adapting brand systems across a range of use cases - especially social, slide decks, and event materials
• Familiarity with Make or similar tools (or a willingness to learn quickly)
• Excellent English communication skills - you’ll work across international teams
• Willingness to travel occasionally for major events like Waves
• Familiarity with task management tools like Monday.com, and a broad understanding of creative workflows and project management, are a plus
