Junior Front-end Software Engineer - Scenario Designer

Prague, Czechia

Make is the leading visual platform for anyone to design, build, and automate anything—from tasks and workflows to apps and systems—without the need for coding skills. We are headquartered in the flourishing tech hub of Prague, Czech Republic, and our teams are spread across the USA, UK, Germany, France, Canada, India and Chile, among other locations.

Why do we love building Make (and why you might, too)?

We’re a team of developers, and it’s second nature for us to whip up a solution with some coding. But what about folks who aren’t developers or don’t have one in their corner? They could get trapped in a monotonous cycle of tedious tasks, shuffling data around, and missing out on doing things that really matter.

That’s where Make comes in. We’ve created a space where anyone can craft powerful automations that are as intuitive and fun as playing a game. We’re here to share the buzz of creating something awesome that works like a charm and to turn everyday individuals into makers.

What you’ll do

  • Become part of a cross-functional product team called Atlas whose main domain is scenario designing. Help us to elevate the user experience when building and interacting with scenarios.
  • Develop innovative highly visual solutions, and build new product features.
  • Improve existing systems to enhance maintainability, performance, reliability, and resiliency.
  • Write and maintain tests.
  • Ship code to production and monitor its functionality using tools like Datadog
  • Automate repetitive work.
  • Invest time into learning new things and growing.
  • Have fun at work :)

As part of the Atlas team, you'll be at the core of our product, building and enhancing the interface that empowers our customers with scenario authoring (integration flows). This means you'll develop tools that allow customers to build flows in a visual editor, configure every step of the integration process, and validate functionality. You'll contribute to ensuring they have seamless operation with real-time overviews of what's happening 'under the hood.' Finally, you'll work on observability features, enabling our customers to easily see what data was processed, when, and if problems occurred, understand why they happened, and much more.

  • You know your way around Git for collaborative development, including branching and pull requests.
  • You get AI. You’re already using it daily to move faster and build better, whether you're designing a system, writing code, or shipping features.
