We are seeking a Solution & Value Engineer to join our growing Go-to-Market team at Make. This highly visible, collaborative role owns both the technical aspects of prospecting and supporting customers after purchase to ensure successful adoption and measurable business value.

As a Solution & Value Engineer, your mission is to educate prospects, drive technical validation, and partner with customers post-sale to ensure our solutions are driving business performance and adoption. As technical experts in a customer-facing role, Solution Engineers are the Swiss Army knife in Make’s organization with close ties between various departments. This is a true accelerator for your career in one of the fastest growing technology companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Focusing on Spain, Italy and strategic customers across EMEA and other regions.
  • Perform business and technical discovery with customer prospects to quickly understand customer priorities and pain points.
  • Partner with the account team by owning the technical diagnosis, prescription and validation phases of the sales cycle and provide a consultative approach in advising customers.
  • Conducting research into prospects, discovering and understanding customer requirements, communicating the value of the solution in a compelling fashion.
  • Create and deliver custom product demonstrations to support the sales cycle.
  • Successfully manage and execute technical workshops and proof of concepts (POCs) in prospects and existing customers.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor post-sale, supporting customers through solution design, optimization, and scaling of automations.
  • Support account expansion by identifying new automation opportunities, additional use cases, and growth paths within existing customers.
  • Articulate and educate on business, technical and architectural concepts to a variety of audiences
  • Create and deliver customer roadmaps, solution visions and corresponding value.
  • Think beyond traditional measures of value ($) and incorporate risk, time, quality and other KPIs in a value proposition.
  • Respond effectively to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
  • Participate in developing content such as presentations, demos, white papers, online courses, and others, for use by both customers and to enable our extended team.
  • Provide direction/feedback on customer needs to product development & Make’s GTM strategy team

Requirements:

  • Fluent Spanish and English speaker. Italian is preferred but not required.
  • Relevant work experience in the area of pre-sales or post-sales in a SaaS/iPaas/Automation application organization at an Enterprise Account level or above.
  • Hands on experience with automation technologies, middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services technologies, enterprise messaging patterns, APIs, SOA, BPM, SDKs, and Databases
  • Experience with cloud technologies - iPaaS, SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure
  • Knowledge of key applications such as Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle EBS, Databases
  • Integration product experience is preferred (but not required). Other integration vendors include MuleSoft, IBM, BEA, Oracle, TIBCO, etc.
  • University Degree In Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or a comparable degree program

Skills:

  • Ability to learn new concepts, technologies and ownership to solve complex customer problems
  • Experience driving customer value through analytics, business process improvement, and enterprise software deployments
  • Ability to identify high-impact use cases and translate them into scalable technical solutions
  • Strong value engineering mindset with the ability to quantify outcomes across efficiency, time, quality, risk, and financial KPIs
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills across technical and business audiences
  • Ability to lead architectural discussions and act as a trusted technical advisor
  • Proven capability to drive adoption through user enablement, change management, and stakeholder alignment
  • Strategic account planning skills, including identifying expansion opportunities within enterprise customers
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with confidence sharing knowledge with highly skilled audiences
  • Ability working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment flexible hours throughout the sales territory
