Account Manager

We are looking for a hybrid closer and farmer as an Account Manager to join our growing NAM team. This isn't a "maintenance" role; it’s an opportunity to join at a critical inflection point as businesses increasingly look to transform their core processes with Agentic AI and automation. You will own the mid-market segment (up to 500 employees), driving massive value through a sophisticated "land and expand" motion.

Responsibilities

  • Scale the NAM Footprint: Join an established, high-performing team to accelerate our market share in the North American mid-market.
  • The "Land and Expand" Engine: You will focus on landing new business through our PLG and inbound motion,  and then continue with the customer as the AM throughout their customer journey. You will also identify untapped potential within existing accounts to cross-sell new use cases and departments.
  • Process Transformation: Act as a consultant to businesses in the 200–500 employee range, showing them how to bridge the gap between manual workflows and an AI-driven future using Make.
  • Strategic Value and Relationship Building: Conduct high-impact Business Reviews with White Glove accounts that move beyond technical health to demonstrate clear ROI, business resilience, and strategic alignment with C-suite goals.
  • Churn Defense & Health: Proactively monitor account health and engagement data to ensure long-term retention and "Make-advocacy" within your territory.
  • Forecast & Pipeline Management: Maintain a rigorous pulse on your expansion pipeline, providing accurate weekly forecasts to NAM leadership.
  • Evangelize the Builder Mindset: Represent Make at North American industry events with Champions and Executives, showcasing the power of visual automation.

Requirements

  • Proven SaaS Experience: 3+ years of experience as an Account Executive or Account Manager,preferably at a scale up or industry with rapid growth.
  • Expansion Specialist: A track record of hitting and exceeding expansion/upsell quotas. You know how to find the "next" use case within a complex organization.
  • AI & Automation Literacy: A deep, hands-on curiosity for how things work. You should be ready to learn and excited by the potential of Automation and Agentic AI.
  • Strategic Multi-threading: Ability to build relationships across multiple departments (IT, Ops, Marketing) to ensure Make is woven into the fabric of the company.
  • Data-Driven & Technical: Expert-level use of CRM and sales tools (Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn) for pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
  • Growth Mindset: You thrive in a fast-paced environment where processes are sharpening. You are a collaborator who shares wins and "plays" to improve the whole team.
  • "Game On" Attitude: High energy, self-directed initiative, and the ability to multitask in a highly visible, scaling role.
