Make cookie notice

Last Update: August, 2025.

Make Cookie Notice

  1. General Information

When you visit any website, it may store or retrieve information on your browser, mostly in the form of cookies. This information might be about you, your preferences or your device and is mostly used to make the site work as you expect it to. The information does not usually directly identify you, but it can give you a more personalized web experience. Because we respect your right to privacy, you can choose not to allow some types of cookies. However, blocking some types of cookies may impact your experience of the site and the services we are able to offer.

A cookie is a small piece of data (text file) that a website – when visited by a user – asks your browser to store on your device in order to remember information about you, such as your language preference or login information. Those cookies are set by us and called first-party cookies. We also use third-party cookies – which are cookies from a domain different from the domain of the website you are visiting – for our advertising and marketing efforts.

This Cookie Notice applies to our website as defined in our Privacy Notice and provides transparency on the cookies that are used.

  1. Types of cookies

We use session-based and persistent “cookies” and similar technologies such as web beacons to increase user-friendliness and compile information about the usage of our website. Cookies are created either by us (first-party cookies) or by third party providers determined by us (third-party cookies).

The following describes the types of cookies we utilize:

  • Necessary Cookies:

These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the site will not then work. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information.

  • Performance Cookies:

These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our site. They help us to know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the site. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. If you do not allow these cookies we will not know when you have visited our site, and will not be able to monitor its performance.

  • Functional Cookies:

These cookies enable the website to provide enhanced functionality and personalization. They may be set by us or by third party providers whose services we have added to our pages. If you do not allow these cookies then some or all of these services may not function properly.

  • Marketing Cookies:

These cookies may be set through our site by our advertising partners. They may be used by those companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant adverts on other sites. They do not store directly personal information but are based on uniquely identifying your browser and internet device. If you do not allow these cookies, you will experience less targeted advertising.

Go to “Select Cookie Settings” to reopen the cookie banner and get the list of all cookies that are currently used as part of our website.

  1. Cookie settings

If you want to review and/or change your cookie settings for this website, please click on the “Select Cookies Settings” on the top of the page to open the Privacy Preference Center. You can always change these settings by returning to this page and making your updates.

You can prevent the use of cookies in general if you prohibit your browser from storing cookies. Please note that choosing to disable cookies may limit your use of certain features or functions on our website. You can also manually opt-out of specific third-party cookies by following the instructions provided in their Privacy Notices (see below).

  1. Third-party cookies

Third party cookies are cookies that may collect data across web domains owned or operated by different entities, mainly for the purpose of tailoring advertising based on preferences or interests known or inferred from the data collected.

In order to opt-out of certain cookies from such third-party cookies, please access the links listed below and follow the instructions provided.

Facebook

Marketing

Our website uses the “Facebook Pixel” developed by Facebook, Inc. (1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA) (“Facebook”). This tool is an advertising cookie that makes it possible to track the behavior of users who have clicked on a Facebook ad. The effectiveness of Facebook ads can then be assessed for statistical and market research purposes, which in turn can help optimize future advertising measures. The data we obtain through this process is anonymous, meaning it gives us no means of tracing the identity of any user.

Google

Functional and Marketing

The Google Tag Manager is a tool to enable tracking activities. The tag manager does not process any Personal Data, since it merely serves to manage other services, e.g., Google Analytics, etc.

Google reCAPTCHA is used to check whether the data entered on our website (such as on a contact form) has been entered by a human or by an automated program to prevent abusive automated entries in web forms. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g., IP address, how long the visitor has been on the website, or mouse movements made by the user).

This website uses Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking – a web analytics service for evaluating your pseudonymous use of the website or application and compiling reports on your website activity and internet usage. The reports provided by Google are used to analyze the performance of our website and the success of our marketing campaigns.

Our website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()” which means that IP addresses are used only in a shortened form in order to prevent any direct correlation to specific persons. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google.

These services are provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The responsible entity for users in the EU/EEA and Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”).

Google Privacy Preferences

LinkedIn

Marketing

Our website uses the “LinkedIn Insight Tag” of LinkedIn. Provider is the LinkedIn Corporation (2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). The responsible entity for users in the EU/EEA and Switzerland is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin2, Ireland (“LinkedIn”). With the help of the LinkedIn Insight Tag, we are able to analyze the success of our campaigns within the LinkedIn platform or determine target groups for them based on the interaction of the users with our website. The LinkedIn Insight Tag enables the collection of metadata such as IP address information, timestamp, and events such as page views.
