Introducing credits - a new billing model

Starting August 27, 2025 we will replace operations with credits as our new billing unit. This will mean that your billing better reflects the specific actions you're performing within our platform.

Your operations balance will be automatically converted to credits at a 1:1 rate; 1 operation = 1 credit. There are no changes to your current plan or pricing, and you can continue to purchase additional credits manually or automatically, just like before.

Usage-based pricing

This shift to credits enables a pricing model that better aligns with your usage. While most actions will consume 1 credit per action, some advanced features (especially AI) may consume more, either with a fixed cost or based on usage.

Better usage tracking

You will be able to track your credit usage directly in your dashboard, as well as review how many credits were used within each scenario run - making it easier to understand and manage your usage.

Continued data visibility

While credits replace operations as the billing unit, operations will remain visible in your scenario run history. This means you can monitor performance and behaviour as before.

AI feature updates

Make AI Agents, Make AI Toolkit, Make AI Content Extractor, and AI Prompt are getting some updates. Token caps will no longer limit these modules. They will now use credits based on the number of tokens consumed.

Using your own AI connections

For supported AI features, you can now choose to leverage Make’s built-in AI provider or bring your own API key. Credit consumption is usage-based when using Make’s AI Provider and, as described above, depends on the model size and token volume used.
