How to setup Anthropic Claude and Telegram Bot in 5 easy steps
Get your Anthropic Claude API key
Log in to your Anthropic Claude console and navigate to the API keys section by clicking the key icon in the bottom-left corner. Click '+ Create Key', select your workspace, give it a name, and copy the unique API key that appears—you won't be able to see it again, so store it somewhere safe.
Connect Anthropic Claude to Make
Open your Make scenario and add an Anthropic Claude module. Click 'Create a connection' and paste the API key you copied earlier into the 'API Key' field. Click 'Save' to establish the connection, which allows Make to securely communicate with your Anthropic Claude account.
Create your Telegram bot with BotFather
Open Telegram and search for 'BotFather', which is Telegram's official tool for creating bots. Type '/newbot' in the conversation, follow the prompts to choose a username, and BotFather will send you a unique token and link to access your new bot.
Connect your Telegram bot to Make
In your Make scenario, add a Telegram Bot module and click 'Create a connection'. Paste the token you received from BotFather into the 'Token' field—this token authenticates your bot and allows Make to send and receive messages through it.
Save and start automating
